Our Process
Our process is designed for customer satisfaction, efficiency and safety.
At Southwest Sharks, we keep things simple: clear communication, professional scheduling, and work that’s done right the first time.
Whether you need pressure washing, soft wash roof cleaning, paver sealing, window cleaning, rescreening, gutter cleaning, or hurricane prep,
our process is designed to be fast, organized, and stress-free.
Step 1: Reach Out
Start with a quick phone call or contact form. Most customers contact us because they want a clean, safe, great-looking property
without guesswork. We’ll ask a few quick questions to understand what you need and where the property is located.
- Call: (941) 500-4543
- Or: Use our online contact form anytime
Step 2: Quick Review (Photos or On-Site Visit If Needed)
In many cases we can estimate from photos, Google Street View, and a few details about the surfaces and scope.
If your property is complex (multi-story, heavy staining, delicate surfaces, large commercial areas, HOA common spaces, etc.),
we may schedule a quick on-site visit to make sure the quote is accurate.
Step 3: You Receive a Clear Estimate
You’ll receive a written estimate by email. It includes the scope of work, what surfaces are included, and any important notes
about access, protection, drying/curing time (for sealing), and scheduling.
Step 4: Approve, Deposit (If Required), and Get Scheduled
Once you approve the estimate, we’ll schedule the job. Some projects require a deposit (especially larger jobs,
multi-day work, specialty materials, or reserved time blocks). If a deposit is needed, we’ll explain it clearly up front.
When you’re officially scheduled, you’ll receive a confirmation and notifications through our system so you’re never wondering:
“Are we on the calendar?”
Step 5: Job Day — Professional Work, Done Safely
We arrive ready to work. We use surface-appropriate methods (pressure washing vs. soft washing) and proven products
to remove grime, algae, mildew, and buildup while protecting the surfaces we clean.
- We verify access (gates, water supply, parking, HOA rules, etc.)
- We protect what needs protection (landscaping and sensitive areas where applicable)
- We clean thoroughly with the correct method for each surface
- We keep communication simple if anything unexpected comes up
Step 6: Completion, Photos (When Needed), and Final Invoice
After the work is complete, we’ll send your final invoice. For many commercial, HOA, and property management clients,
we can also provide before-and-after documentation when requested.
Step 7: Follow-Up and Maintenance Planning
If you want the property to stay consistently clean, we can recommend a maintenance schedule based on your surface type,
shade/trees, coastal exposure, and traffic. Many customers choose seasonal or annual service for predictable results.
Important Notes
Accessibility & Property Access
To keep your service appointment smooth, we may need access to water spigots, gated areas, or community/common areas.
If a property manager, tenant, or HOA representative needs to coordinate access, we’ll work with them.
Terms, Conditions, and On-Site Expectations
Your estimate and invoice will reflect the agreed scope. If conditions on site are significantly different from what was quoted
(e.g., heavier buildup than expected, blocked access, or additional surfaces requested on-site), we’ll communicate any changes before proceeding.
Landscaping & Plant Sensitivity Disclaimer
We take precautions to protect landscaping and surrounding areas during exterior cleaning. However, some plants—especially ornamentals—can be sensitive.
We strongly recommend that customers water plants before and after service if they are concerned, and notify us of any delicate landscaping up front.
While we do our best to minimize risk, Southwest Sharks is not responsible for plants that are damaged due to sensitivity or pre-existing stress.
